Growing up in Clarendon, Jamaica, Steve Wright a.k.a. Izeezi started singing at an early age. Driven by his love for music he found himself hanging around sound systems in his community eager to be given the microphone and a chance to thrill local audiences. His first visit to a recording studio came when he accompanied Coco-T to the studios of the legendary King Jammys. Izeezi immediately knew he had found his calling. Formerly known as Thriller Prince his first song “What they fighting for” was released on the Black African label. After “making the rounds” to various studios and producers, Izeezi settled at Startrail Records where he is currently vybzing and working on his soon to be released debut album. Izeezi has many singles to his credit such as “Genuine Girl”, “Poorman Cry”, ”Free Up The Melody” “Give Thanks” and ”Crab In Barrel” on The Yahbell Lable which have received considerable airplay on both local and overseas radio stations. He has performed on most major shows in Jamaica including Reggae Sumfest,Sting and Rebel Salute and having toured the U.S.A. and the Caribbean as an opening act for Anthony B, Izeezi is experienced yet fresh and ready for the world.
